Terms of Service
For Prime Kids: Parent Helper and Prime Kids Child, operated by Masterclass. Last updated: 11 May 2026 · Effective: 11 May 2026.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Masterclass, an educational team operating from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia (“we,” “our”), about your use of the Prime Kids: Parent Helper and Prime Kids Child mobile applications and any associated services (collectively, “Prime Kids” or “the service”). By creating an account or using either app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. Who can use Prime Kids
- You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account.
- Child profiles may be created only by the verifiable adult parent or legal guardian who created the parent account. The parent is responsible for that minor's use of the Child App.
- You must have the legal right to install the Child App on the device on which it is installed. Installing parental-control software on a device used by another adult without their informed consent may violate the law where you live.
- You must not be barred from receiving the service under the laws of your country or any country where the service operates.
3. Your account
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating your parent account and to keep it current.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us at mergenfromrabbit@gmail.com as soon as you reasonably can.
- You may delete your account at any time (see /delete-account).
4. Acceptable use
Prime Kids is for personal, non-commercial family use. You agree not to:
- Use the Child App to monitor anyone who has not given informed consent — in particular, any adult or any minor not in your legal care.
- Use Prime Kids to harass, stalk, coerce, or otherwise harm any person.
- Use the apps for any unlawful purpose, including violations of any applicable child-protection, anti-stalking, or privacy law.
- Resell, white-label, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Prime Kids or any part of it.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Probe, scan, or otherwise test the security of our servers without our prior written permission.
- Use automated scripts to access the service in ways not provided by the app's normal interface.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or content that infringes another person's rights.
5. Your content
“Your content” means anything you submit through Prime Kids — child profile names, place reminders, avatars, etc.
- You retain ownership of your content.
- You grant Masterclass a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, and display your content for the purpose of operating the service for you. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
- You are responsible for the content you submit.
- We may remove content that violates these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or applicable law.
6. Our service
- We work hard to keep Prime Kids available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. There will be planned and unplanned outages.
- We may add, change, or remove features. If a change materially reduces functionality you depend on, we'll do our best to notify you in advance.
- We may need to suspend the service to perform maintenance, address security issues, or comply with law.
- If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you at least 60 days' notice and offer a way to export your data.
7. Fees and payments
Prime Kids is free to use today. We do not show advertising and we do not have in-app purchases. If we ever introduce paid features in the future, we will do so transparently and with clear pricing, and we will not retroactively charge for features you used while they were free. Any change of that kind would be announced at least 30 days before it takes effect.
8. Intellectual property
The Prime Kids name, logo, designs, and all associated branding are the property of Masterclass. The apps' source code, except where explicitly open-sourced by us, is also our property. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you, except for the limited licence to use the apps as described.
9. Termination
- You may stop using Prime Kids and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms, if your activity puts other users at risk, or if we are required to by law. We will give you reasonable notice and a chance to explain unless doing so would itself harm the safety or rights of others.
- Sections that should reasonably survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Prime Kids is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Masterclass disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Masterclass and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Prime Kids.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our aggregate liability to you under these Terms is limited to USD 100 or, if greater, the amount you have paid Masterclass in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Because Prime Kids is currently free, this latter amount is typically zero.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Masterclass harmless from any third-party claim arising from your misuse of Prime Kids, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights. This section does not require you to defend us against claims that are the fault of Masterclass.
13. Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved informally, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Before filing any legal action, please write to mergenfromrabbit@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the issue directly. We commit to responding within 14 days.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will notify users by email and through an in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Prime Kids after that date means you accept the new Terms. If you don't accept, you can delete your account — the previous Terms apply until you do.
