Delete your Prime Kids account
Required information page for Google Play. Last updated: 11 May 2026.
A In-app deletion (instant)
Use the Prime Kids: Parent Helper app on the parent's phone. Deleting from the parent app removes the parent account and every child profile linked to it.
- 1 Open Prime Kids: Parent Helper on your device. Sign in if you are not already signed in.
- 2 Go to Settings. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the home screen.
- 3 Tap "Account". Then tap Delete account at the bottom of the screen.
- 4 Confirm the deletion. You'll see a list of exactly what will be deleted. Type your password to confirm. The deletion request is processed right away.
B Email request
If you can't access the Parent App (lost device, forgot password, etc.) you can request account deletion by email.
- 1 Email mergenfromrabbit@gmail.com from the email address tied to your Prime Kids account.
- 2 Put "Delete my Prime Kids account" in the subject line. In the body, tell us roughly when you created the account so we can locate it. Do not include your password.
- 3 We verify your identity. We'll reply, usually within one business day. If the email matches a known account, we proceed without further questions; otherwise we may ask one verification question (e.g., last sign-in date) to make sure you are the rightful owner.
- 4 We delete your data. Once verified, we delete your account from our active databases within 7 days and from encrypted backups within 30 days. You'll get a confirmation email when each step is complete.
What gets deleted
When you delete your parent account we remove:
- The parent account record (email, hashed password, display name, profile photo).
- Every child profile linked to that parent.
- Every paired device record — including the Child App's link back to your account.
- All app-usage logs collected from the Child App.
- Location history and geofence events.
- Web-filter events and blocked-attempt records.
- Alerts and notifications.
- Push-notification tokens registered to your devices.
- Security logs and sign-in IPs.
- Crash reports tied to your account.
Uninstalling the Child App
Deleting your parent account also disconnects the Child App on the child's device — it stops collecting data and reverts to a "paired with no parent" state. To remove the Child App entirely from the child's phone, also uninstall it from that device. The Child App will show clear in-app instructions for this once the parent account is gone.
Deleting only one child profile
If you want to remove just one child from your account (without deleting the entire parent account), use the Parent App: Settings » Children » Remove child. That child's profile and all their data is deleted on the same 7-day / 30-day timeline as a full account deletion.
What may be retained, and why
- Aggregated, non-identifying statistics. We keep tallies (e.g., "X parents used web filtering this month") that no longer point to you.
- Records required by law. If we have to keep something to comply with a legal obligation, we will retain only that and delete it as soon as the legal hold ends.
